I came here with the intention of getting to know every nook and inlet of the South Fork, but I’ve yet to go further west than Quogue. Westhampton and Hampton Bays have remained intriguing but when-will-I-get-there blanks, so I’m relly grateful to Dan’s Papers for putting out this article. It’s a guide on Greater Westhampton: Hampton Bays, Quogue, East Quogue, and Westhampton, and it’s stuffed with restaurants, shops, galleries, health clubs, and more. After reading it, I’ve added Fahrenheit 451, which houses Rag and Bone, Vince, and Marc Jacobs, Tide Runners, a bar with live reggae and a view of the Shinnecock Canal, and the southwestern New Moon Cafe to my can’t-miss-list.
