10th Anniversary Of Art For Life With Party For Stars

All photos by ADRIEL REBOH for PMc] Russell Simmons celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Art for Life Saturday night at the beautifully decorated backyard of his East Hampton estate with friends, colleagues, family…and us. We introduced ourselves to Russell who couldn’t have been nicer even though he was short on time and we lacked all knowledge of the dress code as he stared at our brightly colored attire to his “black and white” themed soiree. Appropriately dressed guests in attendance included Donna Karan, Vanessa Williams, Soledad O’Brien, Rev Run & Co. including our favorites Diggy, Russy, and JoJo, Tila Tequila, Derek Blasberg, Adrienne Bailon, Oprah’s BFFs Gayle King and Dr. Oz, Star Jones, DJ M.O.S., and many more. Over $1 million was raised to benefit The Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing urban youth with significant exposure and access to the arts founded by Russell with brothers Danny and Rev Run in 1995.

I heard Russell Simmons spent all of his money this summer on parties and will now be selling his estate to purchase a condominium in undesirable West Hampton. No one buys his clothing, how could his business even exist?
