The Real Housewives Of New York City Get Ready For Their Labor Day Weekend With A Passion For Giving

[Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Countess Luann De Lesseps, Jill Zarin. All photos by JONATHON ZIEGLER for PMc] The Housewives of New York, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Countess Luann De Lesseps, and Jill Zarin, made time during their Labor Day preparations to share their passion for giving with a select group of Hamptonites as they kicked-off their holiday weekend Thursday night with the VIP screening of Robin Baker Leacock’s A Passion for Giving, a film that explores people’s passion for giving through a series of quotes, art, music and interviews. The housewives joined guests Ross Bleckner, Donna Karan, Melissa Berkelhammer, NYC prep youngster Sebastian Oppenheim, and many others for the screening at the Ross School in East Hampton. You catch the film for yourself as it airs on Sept. 19 on PBS in the New York area.

Clothes Make The D-Lister’s Dog

While the majority of celebrities and well-known names at the Ross School Grand Slam Tennis Match yesterday had their children and tennis rackets in tow with them, Aubrey O’Day had her dog and a mini-entourage instead. Here we have Ginger, Aubrey O’Day’s preened and primped white ball of fluff, who showed up at the tennis match in a white and sea-foam green sweater that matched her fur (obviously dyed by her “mommy”, Aubrey). Ginger’s ears and paws corresponded perfectly, but we were slightly disappointed to see they didn’t match Aubrey’s… get-up.

Hamptons House Of The Day

[Photos via Corcoran] Our very own Carson Griffith finally met her Hamptons hero Christie Brinkley (she’s been waiting patiently since June) at the Ross School Tennis Match Sunday afternoon. In honor of Carson’s supermodel encounter, we thought it would be appropriate to choose Chrisite’s Bridgehampton estate as our pick for today’s Hamptons home … More »

Who’s Your Favorite Ross School Graduate?

[Picture via CobraSnake] Did you know that the Hamptons has only one K-12 private school? You would think this place would be stock full of them. Then again, not many people stick around after the summer season. The Ross School (yes, the same one that you see on plenty of event and party invitations) is located in East Hampton, and has less than 400 kids enrolled in grades 5-12… More »

Suit Up!

In honor of Kourtney Kardashian being “with child”, we thought we’d help promote the Kardashian fam’s shop getting a little business. In case you’ve never watched the E! television show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” (what? not a fan of trashy reality shows?), the girls run a boutique in LA called Dash. Well, guess what? It’s real! And they really do sell clothes! Like this D’Amore blue and white St. Tropez striped string bikini, with a studded logo on the bottom.

Horsing Around At The Einstein Medical School’s Wild, Wild West Carnival

[All photos by Adriel Reboh for PMc]

We’re noticing a Western theme lately when it comes to events here in the Hamptons. Is it time to get our cowboy boots out of storage? It just might be. Either way, it looks like celebs and families alike enjoyed themselves at the Einstein Medical School’s Wild, Wild, West Carnival at the Ross School in Bridgehampton, presented by Marquis Jets. Christie Brinkley, Elie Tahari, Jeff Adler, Jason Binn, and their families all horsed around for the day with pony rides, moon bounces, sweet treats, and fun games. More »

Eavesdropping Is What Guests Do Best…

  • Not many people can walk into a restaurant, grab a guitar off the wall, and then give an impromptu performance without appearing insane. That is, unless you are one of the world’s most famous rock artists, Jon Bon Jovi [HuffingtonPost]
  • The party hardly got started for the Pink Elephant Southampton this holiday weekend. Friday, July 3rd’s party, closed at 1:30a. when fire marshals shut down the club for the night due to a “carbon monoxide scare. First Chapter 11, now this…[PageSix]

The Jonas Brothers Making School Cool

The Jonas Brothers
[The Jonas Brothers at Ross School. Photos via Hanging in the Hamptons]

The Ross school was the site of yet another concert this weekend.  Last summer, their concert series was a huge hit, including artists like Prince and Billy Joel (who’s daughter, Alexa is an alumna).  For a cool $15,000 you could buy access to all five concerts.  This year, the Jonas Brothers kicked off the beginning of the concerts at Ross, of which all proceeds will go to supporting their generous tuition program (over 40 percent of the school’s 600 students receive scholarships).
