The Nature Conservancy Throws “Beaches & Bays” To Honor Montauk’s Moorlands

Honoring Dick Cavett for the preservation of his Montauk moorlands, The Nature Conservancy threw a gala in Bridgehampton this past Saturday. Entitled “Beaches & Bays”, the event was held at Mecox Bay, appropriately overlooking the water. The pricey party (normal tickets were going for $600) started with cocktails and hors d’oeurvres and was followed by dinner and dancing enclosed in white tents. Cocktail Kick-Off In East Hampton Celebrating The Upcoming Beaches And Bay Gala

All photos by Rob Rich] This Saturday, a cocktail kick off party was held at the East Hampton home of Tony Ingrao for the upcoming June 27th Beaches and Bays Gala. The Nature Conservancy will host its 9th annual Gala overlooking Mecox Bay in Bridgehampton. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Nature Conservancy’s “Campaign for a Sustainable Planet”, a campaign attempting to double land protection efforts locally and worldwide. More »
