Clothes Make The Hipsters
We tried our best to fit in at The Ivy at Sole East last Saturday (decked out in a black Steven Alan for Uniqlo romper, I didn’t feel TOO of place), but we still couldn’t hit the hipster nail on the head quite like these kids. Apparently the ultimate hipster equation goes something like this: 1 fedora + a pair of wayfarers + a splash of gray + a “I’m too cool for school but not for The Ivy at Sole East” look = Viola! All four of them seem to have it down pat. Now we know who to call next time we head to that particular daytime party - or the LES.

Suit Up!
Even though East Hampton’s Main Street boasts a fine array of shopping hot spots - Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Hermes - we always find ourselves drawn to the eclectic, cool boutique-like store Blue & Cream. With a sister store located on Bowery in NYC, their following extends much further than the seasonal Hamptons set (we have a feeling the hipster crew at The Ivy this past weekend are big fans of the store). “Best $2k I Ever Spent!” The Ivy At Sole East: The Lower East Side Takes A Daytrip To Montauk

Chloe’s Ivy team and Williamson PR will be celebrating summer every other Saturday as they bring the Chloe 81 crowd (via complimentary booze bus) to Montauk for The Ivy at Sole East pool party which kicked off over the weekend with margaritas and lots of Lower East Siders… in a pool. We stopped by Sole East where we spotted Timo Weiland, Nick Leighton with the Plum TV crew, endless pairs of Ray-Ban Wayfarers, and chilled-out downtowners relaxing on poolside beds and cabanas or transforming the grassy lawn into a dance floor while DJs Matt & Maia kept the music spinning all day long.
