Shoppers And Fashion Enthusiasts Support Best Buddies At Tory Burch Store
[Pictures by ADRIEL REBOH for PMc] While a Western theme dinner is a great way to support the Best Buddies philanthropy, for those who were in more of a shopping mode and can’t wait to stock their closets with new fall fashions, Tatiana Platt and Amanda Hearst came to the rescue this past Saturday. They hosted an exclusive evening of shopping and cocktails at the East Hampton Tory Burch store with Tory herself for Best Buddies supporters and Tory fans alike. The gathering also offered event-goers the chance to win a trip Turks & Caicos Sporting Club at Ambergris Cay.

The Hamptons party scene seems to have a thing for cowboys and cowgirls this summer with Saturday night’s Best Buddies Gala marking the third western themed bash we’ve come across since June. I was so bummed that I missed last night’s Best Buddies Hamptons Gala at the home of Anne Hearst and Jay McInerney in Watermill. Founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, Best Buddies is a vibrant, international organization that has grown from one original chapter to more than 1,400 middle school, high school, and college campuses worldwide. Best Buddies now operates accredited programs in 40 countries worldwide. As a result of their involvement with Best Buddies, people with intellectual disabilities secure rewarding jobs, live on their own, and make lifelong friendships.
