Off The Eaten Path…The Princess Diner

Okay, so maybe The Princess Diner can’t really be considered “off the eaten path.” Especially since you have to drive by it on your way to, from, or during most of your Hamptons adventures, but we had no choice but to include it as our last featured grub spot. A New York City style diner in the middle of the Hamptons that is seemingly always open every time you need to run in with friends before your night out or stop by for a late brunch after a day on the beach is perfection as far as we’re concerned… More »

“Best 2k I Ever Spent!” Saying Goodbye To Dune’s Summer Of AXE-tastic Adventures

[All photos by LISA WAGNER for BlogHamptons] Sunday was a sad, sad day for club-crawlers across the East End as Axe Lounge at Dune celebrated its final weekend of the summer season. These guys were especially heart broken as their days of bonding over bottles of booze while showing off their fist-pumping techniques, hitting on scantily-clad girls, and partying until they can’t see straight behind the walls of the Southampton hot spot are officially over. Now they will have to wait until next summer to participate in all of the AXE-tastic booze-filled mayhem because where else will they find such a place…named after a can of man spray.

“Best 2k I Ever Spent!” Surprise! It’s Your Birthday And We’re Taking You To Dune!

[Carson Griffith] Go HERE for more photos and TAG YOURSELF and YOUR FRIENDS!

We’ve heard countless stories, seen endless amounts of photos and have even made a few trips ourselves to the AXE-tastic Southampton hot spot, Axe Lounge at Dune, but what better way to get the full experience than with a surprise birthday party for one of our very own. Especially since we’re pretty sure there is no other way GofG’s Carson Griffith would prefer to spend her birthday in the Hamptons than with giant sparklers, New York City DJ Nick Cohen, as much champagne as a birthday girl could ever wish for, her closest friends, co-workers, and this guy along with the huge crowd of man-spray wearing, fist pumping, rump shaking AXE Loungers.

The Pre-Launch Of “Timeship: The Architecture Of Immortality” Can Stephen Valentine Make These Girls Live Forever?

[Photos by Adriel Reboh for PMc] Architect Stephen Valentine has plans to create immortality through architecture in the very near future and he was ready to celebrate (us all not dying, we assume) in Southampton Friday night at Pink Elephant. In two years, construction will begin for his Timeship, a center for pioneering research to “indefinitely expand the healthy human life span.” Also on board this ship of life? Oh, just a  few near extinct species and some dead human bodies traveling to the future for “later re-animation”… Not. Kidding. It’s possible Mr. Valentine has seen one too many sci-fi flicks but either way, Hamptonites were ready to find out for themselves.

Hamptons Car Of The Day

Would you cruise around the East End in this classic convertible despite it’s pastel purple paint job? We would especially due to it’s shade of purple perfection. Old fashioned cars and flashy rides cover the Hamptons, but it’s not that often you spot hues of purple driving down the Montauk Highway making this automobile in Southampton a great find.

And After The (Art) Show It’s The After Party… With TBD & Cristina Civetta At Nello Summertimes

[Cristina Civetta, Francesco Civetta, Hedi Frejani and friends. Pictures via SBE Photography] We knew we weren’t the first to notice Southampton pop-up shop TBD, who sells everything from Rag & Bone to coffee table books, but apparently we are definitely not the last either, as it seems the store is becoming a hot spot for partying on weekends as well. Patrons and event-goers enjoyed themselves two weekends ago at Ryder Robison’s exhibition, and it seemed the TBD boys, Peter Hananel and Jesse Warren, wanted to do it again, this time with the help of Cristina Civetta of the famous Ceva Nights, with an after-party to boot. The Best Guests Come Bearing Gifts… Survival Kit In A Sardine Can

So you might think there would be no need for a survival kit in the Hamptons. After-all, what would you possibly need to survive here? But we beg to differ. This handy-dandy kit has everything you need to make it through a weekend of events, parties, and late nights out. It has a compass if you have no idea where you wake up in the morning after a rough night at Pink Elephant (staying in Southampton and end up in Hampton Bays the next morning? Problem solved)… More »
