You Weighed In… Your Favorite Hamptons Restaurant!
YOU voted and it looks like your favorite pair of twins, the Koch Brothers, took 1st place in the “What’s Your Favorite Hamptons Restaurant?” poll this week. After experiencing the Day & Night brunch party ourselves, we can easily see why they placed first, and not to mention the brothers’ good looks. Day & Night Restaurant won the poll with a 23% of the vote, while Georgica came in 2nd with 16%. Slo Jacks: A Best Kept Secret
Slo Jacks or Slo’s as locals call it, is a dream come true. Its anything but your typical Hamptons food joint with long lines, obnoxious customers, and even more obnoxious prices. Located off Old Montauk Highway equidistant between East Quogue and Southampton, it offers a whole host of wonderful items including Mexican Food, mini golf, a surf shop, and a Pac-Man machine. Slo’s menu is appropriately inlaid into the fiberglass of a surfboard that hangs above the front counter. FYI, The cheese quesadilla is to die for. Can you think of a better way to spend a first date than a root beer float and a round of mini golf?
