[Photos by Adriel Reboh for PMc] Architect Stephen Valentine has plans to create immortality through architecture in the very near future and he was ready to celebrate (us all not dying, we assume) in Southampton Friday night at Pink Elephant. In two years, construction will begin for his Timeship, a center for pioneering research to “indefinitely expand the healthy human life span.” Also on board this ship of life? Oh, just a few near extinct species and some dead human bodies traveling to the future for “later re-animation”… Not. Kidding. It’s possible Mr. Valentine has seen one too many sci-fi flicks but either way, Hamptonites were ready to find out for themselves.

[Diane Passage, Sir Ivan Wilzig. Photo by David X Prutting for PMc] via guestofaguest.com: The Peace Man, a.k.a. Sir Ivan, a.k.a. best party thrower in the Hamptons, left his castle and his peace sign cape behind Tuesday night to party at Pink Elephant for a pole dancing competition (absolutely no surprise there). He was in attendance for every bit of exotic dancing fun for the Pole Superstar and S.P.I.N. Launch Party Wednesday night. MORE>>>
So you might think there would be no need for a survival kit in the Hamptons. After-all, what would you possibly need to survive here? But we beg to differ. This handy-dandy kit has everything you need to make it through a weekend of events, parties, and late nights out. It has a compass if you have no idea where you wake up in the morning after a rough night at Pink Elephant (staying in Southampton and end up in Hampton Bays the next morning? Problem solved)… More »
If you frequent the nightclubs out here, we’re sure you’ve seen some unusual fashions. Florescent pants. Hot pants. No pants. But you probably have never seen anything like this: The built-in bikini jeans. This Asian sensation is causing mayhem in the Eastern world already and considering the amount of thongs we are forced to view see when we go out to clubs at night, we think these might solve the problem. Because if you’re going to flaunt it anyway, why not make it a bit more respectable? Afterall, these at least offer a bit more coverage. More »
[Justin Ross Lee gets the smackdown from security. Picture by JT WHITE] I have a confession to make. While I have made the acquaintance of Justin Ross Lee before, it was pre-posting days of his antics. I hadn’t “formally” met JRL besides our brief Pink Elephant run-in in the Hamptons, so when he made a point to introduce himself to me at the closing day of the Mercedes-Benz Polo at Blue Star Jets Field this past Saturday, I knew I was in for a real treat. Wearing coral pants and an over the top paisley shirt, oversized Star-of-David necklaces nestled in his chest hair, JRL filled me in on how he was banned from the polo grounds. His VIP access bracelet? Put on by himself. According to what JRL told me, this was a result of a picture he posted on his Facebook that we re-posted on the site of him and Star Jones, that was photo-shopped in typical JRL style. Taken at the opening day of polo, the now infamous pic of him and Star was snapped after they had both been interviewed for Plum TV. Pre-posting it, he photo-shopped a picture of “Devil Dogs” snacks above Star’s head…
[All photos by Adriel Reboh for PMc]Amy Sacco and Jamie Hatchett hosted Beach Blanket Bungalow Saturday night at Pink Elephant bringing Bungalow 8 to the Hamptons for the very first time. All things were just as they should be for a night out at the New York City hot spot on the East End replacing its’ striped banquettes with sandy cabanas, an exclusive “you’re not on the list so go home” door policy, and a who’s who crowd of party-going Hamptonites. Guests included the likes of Steven Klein, Liam McMullan and fiancee Aesha Waks, Nacho Figueras, and Richard Johnson. Even Lindsey Lohan and her “fingers in the mouth pose” stopped by before heading to Dune where she was spotted partying the night away.
For Heat, a Celebration of the New Ellen Hermanson Breast Center Southampton Hospital this past Saturday, Steven Klein opened his home to friends, celebs, and fellow good-goers. The greens of his Bridgehampton abode held tents that housed Lindsay Lohan, Daphne Guinness, Amy Sacco, Donna Karan, Kim Cattrall, Andre Balazs, Fabiola Beracasa, Richie Notar, and Julie Ratner, to name some of the fashionable guests who came out to support the good cause. [Bret Kropp. Picture by DAVID X PRUTTING for PMc] Adding a little color to Steven Klein’s party on Saturday where guests were primarily dressed in black and white, Bret Kropp came decked out in a full hot pink sequin and bedazzled mini, black platform shoes, “DIOR” rhinestone choker and full-on headdress. With make-up to match, Bret definitely made a technicolor statement. Bringing the party with him, Bret was a show-stopper at Pink Elephant later on in the night where many of the same crowd (plus more) continued the party afterwards. We have a feeling in this outfit, he just needed to get his dance on a little.
In honor of Shwayze’s trip to the Hamptons this past weekend, we thought we’d bring you a song by the artist themselves. While this summery song by the band featuring the infamous Cisco Adler (remember his nude pics a few years back?…We certainly do) may not be the kind of music they were playing when the band was partying the night away at Pink Elephant and Dune on Friday night, it’s a song we’d add to our summer playlist… More »
