This large fishing boat was seen coming into Shinnecock Bay around sunset last night, pulling into its home located at the dock next to Shinnecock Inlet. This particular boat goes out every morning to the Atlantic Ocean, trolling for squid. However, who knows what they also pull in with their daily catches. A hot scuba diver perhaps?
[Photo via Getty] Although we wish there was a month long pirates sand sculpture festival in the Hamptons, this picture was actually captured on Saturday at the Annual Sand Sculpture Festival in Blankenberge, Belgium. This particular photo is of a pirate ship littered with all sorts of pirates booty and various treasures… More »
[Photo by Kendra Seay] We caught this view shortly after a major thunderstorm passed through the Hamptons last week almost making the twenty-plus days of rain we endured over the East End worth it…almost. Do you have a cool Hamptons Summer photo to share? Email us and get it up as our Photo of the Day! Don’t let summer pass by without documentation. Seriously?! The feathered passenger of this car can FLY, yet it opts for a ride down the street enjoying the scenery and turning its beak up to the pigeons on the street while being chauffeured around with the top down. Life is good in the Hamptons, even for the birds.

[What are all of these people looking at? SHARK ATTACK!] A GofG Hamptons reader recently sent this candid pic taken of a shark spotted while at the beach in Quogue. The other pictures were too bloody and gruesome to post on the site, so this is all we have to show you. Just kidding, there was no blood or violence caused by this passing shark. It was just bathing itself in the summer Hamptons waters. We cannot wait for the weather to get better so we too can brave the waters of the chilly Atlantic. That is, we would prefer it if Mr. or Mrs. Shark does not stop by for a friendly hello. Photo of the shark below… More »
