Pictures via SBE Photography] We knew we weren’t the first to notice Southampton pop-up shop TBD, who sells everything from Rag & Bone to coffee table books, but apparently we are definitely not the last either, as it seems the store is becoming a hot spot for partying on weekends as well. Patrons and event-goers enjoyed themselves two weekends ago at Ryder Robison’s exhibition, and it seemed the TBD boys, Peter Hananel and Jesse Warren, wanted to do it again, this time with the help of Cristina Civetta of the famous Ceva Nights, with an after-party to boot. It’s that time of summer: The big sales are starting. Believe it or not, stores are trying to rid their racks of summer wares to make room for new fall outfits already, including swimsuits, and this means online as well. So it’s no surprise that the already affordable Old Navy is slashing their prices for this extremely cute and cheap turquoise coral bikini from $39.00 down to $20.00 for the whole suit. More »

You probably remember the Introduction to Justin Ross Lee we did a couple of weeks ago right here. How could you forget? Between his “Jew-jetting”, bottle-popping, and love of over the top antics it’s hard to push out of your mind… or the comments off our site. So we checked in with JRL to see what he was up to the other day via a brief message on Facebook (his choice medium). To our surprise, Justin was ready and willing to provide GofG with more information about himself - even things we never asked for. Including this one-on-one interview he conducted with himself, and sent to our editor. So in case the intro to JRL wasn’t enough to get a full picture of exactly what this character is all about, sit back and enjoy him answering these questions…. that he asked himself including things like which hamptons nightclub has a door entrance that is big enough for his head. YOU voted and it looks like your favorite pair of twins, the Koch Brothers, took 1st place in the “What’s Your Favorite Hamptons Restaurant?” poll this week. After experiencing the Day & Night brunch party ourselves, we can easily see why they placed first, and not to mention the brothers’ good looks. Day & Night Restaurant won the poll with a 23% of the vote, while Georgica came in 2nd with 16%. Stanley instructed the girls on a recent excursion. He wanted to know if his dogs at Nello Summertimes finally got their ears out of their tails and cut down on their $27.00 vodka cranberry cocktail. You may remember the angst this drink caused the Eater boys last summer. So Stanley told them to check in on the Nello crowd this past Friday night, and order as many different drinks they could (note: the operative word being “order” not “drink” - the girls have the beverages awaiting his arrival this weekend in their fridge). So, between the cougar gawking and the preying men, team Hamptons found some interesting finds about the elasticity of drinks at Nello. More »
Maybe it was our recent jaunt to Nellos that reminded us just how great a cougar-inspired plot-line can be, or maybe it was thanks to Nate’s summer fling with an older woman on “Gossip Girl” in the Hamptons last season - regardless, thanks to The Hampton Affair, by Vincent Lardo, that void in your life can now be filled. [Photos via Rob Rich] Summertime feasting, patio lounging, and vino sipping has officially returned to Nello so head to Southampton, order a $27 cocktail (or the affordable $18 bellini), and “Tell Nello You’re Here.” Last Saturday, the Italian eatery celebrated Memorial Day Weekend playing host to Hamptonite-scenesters who opted for an evening of spending at the notoriously expensive restaurant to ring in the summer. These fashionable ladies weren’t worried about the $27 drinks at Nello’s this last Friday. They were all focused on Dolce & Gabbana’s new Fall 2008 Fashion presentation hosted by Samantha Boardman Rosen, Jamie Tisch and Stephanie Winston Wolkoff.

Yeah we”ve been saying Nello”s was overpriced for a long time now, but this disparity above is just comical. Thank you Eater for documenting what we all already know: we are paying way too much at our dining establishments out here. It”s things like this that make it hard for my parents to bite their tongues when visiting. The funniest part about this is that the cocktails at Dino”s are actually good. Ah, the good life.
