Our days of stomping divots, drooling over Nacho Figueras, VIP tents, celebrity sightings, and absurd on-field feuds have officially come to an end. Niche Media along with Microsoft Bing hosted Closing Day of the Mercedes Benz Polo Challenge on the Blue Star Jet Field as Hamptonites including Russell Simmons, Serena Altschul, Bethenny Frankel, Barron Hilton, Haley and Jason Binn, and many more cheered on the players, sipped cocktails beneath the tents, and celebrated the end of the season.

SECURITY! Star Jones Gets Justin Ross Lee Banned From Polo

While I have made the acquaintance of Justin Ross Lee before, it was pre-posting days of his antics. I hadn’t “formally” met JRL besides our brief Pink Elephant run-in in the Hamptons, so when he made a point to introduce himself to me at the closing day of the Mercedes-Benz Polo at Blue Star Jets Field this past Saturday, I knew I was in for a real treat. Wearing coral pants and an over the top paisley shirt, oversized Star-of-David necklaces nestled in his chest hair, JRL filled me in on how he was banned from the polo grounds. His VIP access bracelet? Put on by himself. According to what JRL told me, this was a result of a picture he posted on his Facebook that we re-posted on the site of him and Star Jones, that was photo-shopped in typical JRL style. Taken at the opening day of polo, the now infamous pic of him and Star was snapped after they had both been interviewed for Plum TV. Pre-posting it, he photo-shopped a picture of “Devil Dogs” snacks above Star’s head…

Clothes Make The Hunks
[Picture via Rob Rich] Look at what the polo ponies dragged in last weekend at Blue Star Jets Field. Two gorgeous hunks, with their long dark locks blowing in the wind! At first glance you might think these two are twins - or at least brothers - but don’t be fooled. Any polo fan would recognize that the Latino heartthrob on the right is none other than Nacho Figueras, who has been tearing up the polo field all summer for Bridgehampton. But who’s the other hottie to his left? Well, that would be Maximiliano Palacio from Real Housewives of New York, who has been linked to both Kelly Bensimon and LuAnn de Lesseps (you might know him better by the nickname Kelly referred to him by on the show: “Max-Max”). Rumor has it that the Argentinian actor might be playing Samantha’s latest love interest in the upcoming Sex & the City 2 movie. Wouldn’t be too surprising - we know how Samantha Jones loves her younger men, and it certainly seems like Max-Max loves his older women. More »

After sunny weather and drink-swigging at the StyleCaster VIP tent at the Mercedes Benz Polo at Blue Star Jets Field in Bridgehampton, the whole crew joined other guests at Montauk Yacht Club for a summer cocktail party co-hosted by esteemed fashion designer, Brian Reyes. The elegant venue included tasteful flower arrangements and the Montauk Yacht Club’s famous lighthouse.

Clothes Make The Future Style Icons

These two have a long future of being heartbreakers ahead of them, and we have a feeling they headed to the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at Blue Star Jets Field on Saturday to pick up some tips from the master himself, polo player Nacho Figueras. Sporting argyle summer sweaters and white pants, they looked adorably dashing against the summer sky and bright green grass. Just in case anyone accused them of matching too much though, they differentiated in their blue and green. Harry, in the green, went with some serious aviators, white driving shoes, and a simple tee underneath it all. Peter, in blue, choose black loafers for some contrast and a more “Chuck Bass” look of a tucked in tie underneath his sweater and collared shirt.
