“Best 2k I Ever Spent!” Celebrating Matt Shendell’s F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S Birthday At Dune
[Fabolous flips the bird for Dune. Photos by KirillwasHere] Do rap stars usually show up to your birthday bash with the rest of your party-hopping buddies? No? Well, if your Matt Shendell they do. Fabolous made his way to the Hamptons Saturday night to perform for the AXE crowd at Dune while celebrating his new album Loso’s Way. Culture Shoq was also in attendance adding their own flavor to the bash hosted by Asics and Perrier-Jouet with DJ Jesse Marco manning the turn tables. While the crowd was busy guzzling bottles, tearing up the banquettes, and snapping pics of Fabolous with their Blackberrys, Matt let loose with his pals during another ordinary day on the job for the club owner and nightlife aficionado.

“Best 2k I Ever Spent!” Partying It Up On The Step & Repeat At AXE Lounge At Dune
[Photos by Lisa Wagner for BlogHamptons] Club crawlers were so excited to shake their AXE at Dune Saturday night that the party started before anyone even made it through the front door with the Step & Repeat getting more love than the banquettes being danced on inside. Why was the Southampton hot spot the go-to destination Saturday night for every club-going party hopper in town? Was it the celebration of Dune owner and nightlife pro Matt Shendell’s birthday? Was it the expected appearance/performance by Fabolous, the highly anticipated set by DJ Jesse Marco?

Just when you thought two nights of AXE-tastic adventures at Dune was more than you could handle, they added Thursday night into the mix for a jam-packed holiday weekend. Dune Owner and nightlife pro, Matt Shendell took the night off and joined Los Angeles native and Sin City fave, DJ Vice, the rowdy boys of Team Facelift, and a booze-crazed group of July 4th weekend early birds inside AXE Lounge to kick off the festivities ahead of schedule last Thursday night. No stranger to a room full of over-eager party goers, Matt Shendell joined in on the fun letting loose with friends while DJ Vice perfectly worked the crowd into a frenzy with a little help from a performance by The Fat Jew, Fonda, and Machine of Team Facelift. —-

Hitting The Course For The Fifth Annual Hamptons Golf Classic

The Gofg Hamptons Team had a great time at this year’s Hamptons Golf Classic V. and we weren’t the only ones. Golfers cruised around the course in friendly competition with cocktails in hand stopping by the bars set up at various holes featuring tasty beverages from Hypnotiq, Malibu Rum, Dos Equis, and many more with host New York Knicks B-baller Chris Duhon in support of his Stand Tall Foundation, which Duhon created in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in August 2005.
