We’re Happy To Be Away From The City This Week Because…
[Picture via TV Cocktail] People are buzzing about Bravo’s new show, ‘NYC Prep’. And we’re not sure what would be worse, being bombarded by advertising for the reality version of the Gossip Girl rip-off or actually running into the teenage brats kids on the Upper East Side somewhere. Luckily for us, the only television promos that have crossed our paths out here have been in the form of planes pulling Royal Pains banners - and we’re just fine with that. It seems everyone in NYC that we’ve talked to are just as annoyed with the existence of the show as we are, so we’re as happy as Lobster Roll clams that the only exposure we’re getting to this rubbish are the previews that interrupt our Real Housewives marathons. DJ Cassidy has created sweet music for the ears of just about every celebrity and who’s-who around, and we’re not just talking within the hip-hop world. Oprah, J.Lo, Diddy, the MTV Music Awards… The President?! The Native New Yorker who is one of the world’s most well-known DJs, and who was in action at AXE just this last Saturday, talks to us about Obama’s inauguration, relationships, vacation spots, producing, fashion, and well, just about everything… except Beyonce and JayZ’s wedding that is. So close!
