Did you know GofG Hamptons very own Kristin Luciano will be pulling an Elle Woods on us? Ok, not literally, but she will be leaving us for law school tomorrow. We know, we’re devastated too. But in the name of justice, we have to give her up apparently. And while our style may differ about… always, if I was to offer her a parting gift, it may have to this Tara Matthews peace sign bikini. It sums up Kristin and her fashion faves in a nutshell. It’s sporty with the halter neck and banded bottom, has peace signs all over it (girl loves her some peace signs), and the thing is neon and covered in sequins. More »
[Photo via flickr]It’s really eff-ing hot! As a matter of fact, it is going to be so hot this week that ice furniture is necessary in order to take a break from the heat. These two kids were spotted “chillin out” in the middle of Union Square sitting on two solid blocks of ice. While it may be scorching hot in New York, we thankfully always have the beach to help us cool off. In the event that your air conditioning seems to break the same day temperatures reach above 90 degrees, you can always play in an open fire hydrant for free or shell out the big bucks for a private rooftop pool membership More »
[Picture via Pamela Viola] I’ve been trying to get on a bike all summer. I swear it hasn’t been this hard since before I got my training wheels off. So when we saw this article today on Refinery 29 written by our friend Steven Rojas, we got pretty excited. Summer bicycles! And oh, are some of them pretty! We decided to each select our favorites (which were obviously totally different) in the hopes that the manufacturers would think seeing us riding along Main Street would be the best form of advertising for their play things and send some our way. Or… not. More »

You can come by plane, train or helicopter but there is no better way to get to the Hamptons these days than by The IVY’s party bus, leaving out of Soho every other Saturday and heading non-stop to their parties at Sole East in Montauk. Only thing is, $2k isn’t what you need to get on this bus - it’s VIP status only. Knowing the right people is the key, and keeping your fingers crossed tightly for that e-vite to show up in your inbox is just as important.
[Image via NYMag] In case you were wondering why we haven’t dragged ourselves into the Blue Parrot as of yet, it really doesn’t have anything to do with the shaky reviews. We have yet to find a place that reviews have deterred us. We just figured that Curbed Hamptons was on Parrot Watch so tightly they pretty much had that covered for all of you (how did Kristinphrase it? Tighter than Bradley Cooper’s abs, to be exact?). But as my family was in town over the weekend and my aunt read somewhere Martha Stewart enjoyed some Dirty Bird margaritas and chipotle guacamole at the Mexican hot-spot, she was set on trying it out. Sure, why not? I figured I could report back to the GofG Hamptons crew. To spare my time and yours, I could do a pretty quick pros and cons list, but I’ll go into a little more detail for you… More »
We all have really different taste in music here at GofG Hamptons . Kristin loves techno (and I mean LOVES it), Kendra digs more underground, Brooklyn-esque, Rachelle just recently discovered Pandora, and while I pretty much download any song they play on Gossip Girl without (too much) embarrassment, I’ve been known to scour up an original song here and there… More »
Well, we actually just were in the City. Last night. If you are a loyal Twitter follower of ours (as you should be! @GofGHamptons! Get on that!), you’ll know that @CarsonGriffith, @KLuciano, and @KendraMiaSeay all traveled to the city last night for a 12 hour venture to attend the Malcom Harris’ One Dress Launch Party with GofG, catch up on errands, and see friends. Since Kendra and I actually live in the city 3/4 of the year, it was great being back on our home turf, and we didn’t realize how much we missed the choas of city living, the high rises, and the general hussle and bussle of the city. But you know what? Nothing beats the Hamptons in the summer time. And there’s certainly one reason we are glad we are back here: HOLIDAY TRAFFIC!More »

As a pre-cursor to the Hamptons Golf Classic V, participants and those just in it for the entertainment or golf carts (like… us) came together for the Hamptons Golf Classic Dinner held at Savanna’s on Sunday night. The exclusive event was a small soiree, with delicious treats and a happy crowd soaking up the good weather.

We’ve set up shop to bring you all the goss from the Hamptons Golf Classic but it’s time we leave our coffee, cocktails and laptops behind and hit up the green with the big boys. I’ve already taken one swing and struck out (literally… I whiffed), so we’re going to try our luck with our golf cart which they set up for Team GofG Hamptons. Don’t miss us too much! We’ll be back! Until then enjoy what we’ve prepared for you from the weekend, and get ready for more updates from the HGC. Annnnd we’re off! And don’t worry, no one’s letting me behind the wheel!
We lucked out today, because the weather is beautiful and so are the greens at the Hampton Hills Golf & Country Club, and we’re not just saying this because they’re currently scattered with celebrity golfers and Hamptonites who have extended their weekends a day longer to participate in the Hamptons Golf Classic V. We’ll be working from the sunny venue all day, tracking the scores (and drinks) of people like Jill Zarin, Chris Duhon, Richard Johnson, Justin Tuck from the Giants, and just about every big name in Hamptons nightlife. Sometimes the glam and the glitz of a long weekend can get to be a little much. Don’t get us wrong, we love a nice cool glass of rose at Day & Night, or checking out what label Nikki Hilton has on at Lily Pond as much as the next weekender. But if you’re looking for somewhere to take a load off after all the preening, plop your pretty butt in plastic chairs, and take a break from it all, we might have just the place for you. We can’t say John Scott’s Surf Shack is off the beaten path, because it certainly is not. More »
