Eavesdropping Is What Guests Do Best…
- Billy Joel might be running away from his last relationship with Katie Lee, however, he is having no trouble parking his motorcycle collection in Sag Harbor. The show will run until July 19th, and one can only hope he finds some solace in the sweet rides of his numerous bikes. [Newsday]
- Apparently not everyone is involved in our love affair with Georgica. But hey, we wouldn’t want to stand in the rain to get in anywhere either. So is taking away the awning a new form of crowd control? What’s next? Buckets of water? Honestly though, our favorite part of this video is Nick Leighton’s spiel on Highway 27’s velvet ropes. According to the Daily News “After nearly five years of marriage, Billy and Katie have decided to separate” as confirmed today by reps from both parties. Katie seemed to be in good spirits when spotted, just recently at the Montauk Yacht Club’s 80th Anniversary where she hosted a BBQ Bash arriving without her husband, per usual… More »

The Montauk Yacht Club’s 80th Anniversary BBQ Burger Bash With Katie Lee Joel
[Katie Lee Joel, serves up some grub to Derek Blaseberg. All photos by Rob Rich] Luckily, the rain held out Saturday afternoon long enough for the Montauk Yacht Club’s BBQ Burger Bash to kick-off with guests enjoying croquet, face painting, live music, and burgers, burgers, and more burgers. Guests included College Humor’s Ricky Van Veen with Anna Marie Tendler, Steve Kasuba, Andrew Farkas, Jason and Haley Binn, Lyle Maltz and the “Swinging Saturday” host Katie Lee Joel, who was definitely a party favorite thanks to her portobello mushroom burgers with caramelized onions, arugula, muenster cheese, and pimento aioli on Portugese muffins which were an absolute hit.

- The “Countess” has had no trouble making headlines recently. After her recent split from the actual Count (via e-mail) it looks like LuAnn is back on the market. She was spotted dancing and drinking with guys in their 20’s at the new Hamptons hotspot, Georgica [Page Six]
- According to the oh so credible, TMZ, Billy Joel might be considering buying Katie Lee Joel her very own italian restaurant. TMZ’s source says that the restaurant will probably be located in Sag Harbor [TMZ]
