The halter tie is a nice touch, especially when you’re out there surfing the waves like a modern-day Gidget and don’t want your “girls” falling out! Photo By JT White] This Saturday, at the Melet Mercantile Montauk opening, we came across party-goer Talia Eisenberg, spotted wearing this nostalgic looking jacket representing the exact opposite of the preppy chic look in a good way. She has the exact attitude to not only wear this jacket, but to rock it out all summer. Well, at least as long as this chilly jacket-appropriate weather holds up. Whose face is on the back? Your guess is as good as ours…

Summer is a time to stop worrying so much about what you look like, and start focusing on making memories. Because, if last year taught us anything, this season goes by the fastest each time around. Spotted at Robert Fowler’s Prep Party. This stylish hunk definitely knows how to rock country club chic! From head-to-toe, Elliot is preppy perfection. From the handkerchief tucked elegantly into his pocket (so you can borrow it to wipe the sweat off your brow after you’re done swooning over him) to his perky bow, Elliot will have no problem charming the pants off of everyone this summer. We heard he works for Michael Kors where he’s undoubtedly picked up a lesson or two on how to channel classic American style. Those great legs are all his own work though!
