There are guilty pleasures and then there is Gossip Girl, the novel that everyone’s favorite show was based on. Yes, in case you never knew, the CW show was based on a book by Cecily Von Zeigesar - an entire series actually. Its’ similarities are obvious, even if there are striking differences (Jenny is a five foot tall curly haired art freak, Vanessa has a shaved head, and Blair chops all her hair off and runs away to London for a few months - all in a series time). Worst of all though, there’s no Dorota… More »
We’re not extreme girly-girls. We don’t wear make-up to the beach. I’m slightly embarrassed of my Gossip Girl obsession. And we’re not huge Lily Pulitzer fans. So you might be able to say this hot pink flamingo bikini by Tara Matthews is as close as you’re going to get us to pool-side zoo creatures. But the white and pink sequin flamingo is pretty adorable - in a kitschy kind of way. And while hot pink isn’t really our thing, it does any flamingo justice. Besides, it’s the end of summer. It’s time to pack as much fun in as possible. And what’s more fun than this bikini? If you can think of something, let us know. [Suit Up!]

Photo by Getty] via guestofaguest:Season 3 of Gossip Girl is coming to a tube near you in just over a month and the cast has been spotted all over the Big Apple wrapping up their filming schedule. The cast including Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chance Crawford, Taylor Momsen, and new-comer Hillary Duff were spotted filming in the West Village early Tuesday morning. Will the cast be trekking it out East soon? Seriously, after Season 2’s first episode kicking off in the Hamptons, what would would GG season 3 be without a trip to the East End?! MORE>>>
We all have really different taste in music here at GofG Hamptons . Kristin loves techno (and I mean LOVES it), Kendra digs more underground, Brooklyn-esque, Rachelle just recently discovered Pandora, and while I pretty much download any song they play on Gossip Girl without (too much) embarrassment, I’ve been known to scour up an original song here and there… More »
[NickBeech with Georgica Limited Edition Satchel. All photos By Rob Rich] Nick Beech, founder ofHampton & Co., opened his flagship store this past Saturday located at 60b Jobs Lane in Southampton, NY. The store is most notable not only for the recent cameo of their “Georgica Limited Edition Satchel” in a recent episode of Gossip Girl, but for the underlying causes of the company. Hampton & Co. is a proud supporter of giving back to the community. More »
September 1st will be the season premiere of that show we have all come to know and love, Gossip Girl. There have been four short previews, of which this is my favorite, though the one with the nod to “Lilypond” is a classic as well.

This Saturday July 19th marked opening day of the 2008 Summer Season of the Mercedez-Benz Polo Challenge, a day not dared to be missed by Polo fanatics OR social scions. Probably one of the most quintessential things to do on summer Saturdays in the Hamptons is to attend the polo matches at the Bridgehampton Polo Club on Hayground Road.
By “attending Polo”, I’m not talking about pulling up to the field with a basket full of cold cuts and some wine coolers to enjoy while watching the games from the bleachers. I’m talking about attending Polo on the other side – the side behind the white picket fence (literally) that has that big white tent with the un-missable Mercedez-Benz emblem on it. That is known as the VIP tent, and that is where “Polo” really happens.
Word is our favorite shaggy-locked southerner will be celebrating his birth at Dune this Saturday. As you can’t have a party without your trendsetting, uber-accessorized compadres, Chace is bringing the rest of the Gossip Girl crew (even 15 year-old Taylor Momsen?), plus the classier Hilton. Maybe Ed Westwick will stage an impromtu concert with his rock band, the Filthy Youth. Wearing these. See you there!
