We’re noticing a Western theme lately when it comes to events here in the Hamptons. Is it time to get our cowboy boots out of storage? It just might be. Either way, it looks like celebs and families alike enjoyed themselves at the Einstein Medical School’s Wild, Wild, West Carnival at the Ross School in Bridgehampton, presented by Marquis Jets. The Annual Club Starlight Ball For Ross School In East Hampton

The Ross school held their Annual Starlight Ball honoring Martha Stewart with a namesake scholarship, the newly established Martha Stewart Scholarship Fund awarded to Ross student and 14-year old culinary prodigy, Gregory Grossman. Over 500 people attended the elegant affair in support of the school raising over $500,000. More »

Elie Tahari, Tuleste Trunk Show And Robby Brown’s Party Make For A Busy Saturday!
Rory and Elie Tahari hosted a wonderful party Saturday at their East Hampton flagship store for good friend Simon Doonan who is releasing his book titled “Eccentric Glamour.” Doonan himself was there signing books as well as The Real Housewives of New York’s Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Jonathan Adler, and of course, Doonan’s pup Liberachi.
Also in attendance were Guest of a Guest friends Rob Banning (Martha Stewart media) and Scott Currie (Tahari’s PR hero). The drinks were wonderful, the clothes were stunning as always, and Lady Bunny’s energy brought in quite a crowd.

The beaches on the Eastern shores of Long Island are about to get a lot more elegant and artful thanks to the new collection of breezy beach cover-ups (Silk Chiffon Caftan & Cotton Voile Pareo) by artist Kenny Scharf for Elie Tahari. Back in March 2007, Elie and Rory Tahari had a chance to meet pop-surrealist Kenny Sharf at Art Basel in Miami. Tahari has been a long-time fan of Scharf’s work (since the late 80’s) and well, WHO doesn’t love Tahari. So when an opportunity arose for a new and fresh collaboration to put Scharf’s art onto Tahari’s clothing, Sharf and Tahari both jumped. More »
