[Picture via CobraSnake] Did you know that the Hamptons has only one K-12 private school? You would think this place would be stock full of them. Then again, not many people stick around after the summer season. We’re noticing a Western theme lately when it comes to events here in the Hamptons. Is it time to get our cowboy boots out of storage? It just might be. Either way, it looks like celebs and families alike enjoyed themselves at the Einstein Medical School’s Wild, Wild, West Carnival at the Ross School in Bridgehampton, presented by Marquis Jets. Christie Brinkley, Elie Tahari, Jeff Adler, Jason Binn, and their families all horsed around for the day with pony rides, moon bounces, sweet treats, and fun games. More »

A Centennial Event For The Southampton Hospital Foundation

[All Photos by JONATHAN ZEIGLER for PMc].
What better place for the 51st Annual Southampton Hospital Foundation Summer Party than in Southampton itself. The party was held on Wickapogue Road in Southampton and it was a gorgeous event with the evenings proceeds benefiting Southampton Hospital’s Department of Emergency Medicine. Dressed in a breathtaking yellow dress, Christie Brinkley was the honorary chair of this year’s event. The summer party this year was called A Centennial Event, and rightly so, considering that the hospital has been in service since 1908.

Hamptons International Film Festival & Guild Hall Let It Rock With “It Might Get Loud”
[Tom Scott, Davis Guggenheim. All photos by Adriel Reboh for PMc] Half the time at movie premieres the most interesting thing going on is at the step and repeat, and while Christie Brinkley may have made sure not to disappoint photographers with a little air guitar action, the celebrities getting their picture taken definitely took a back seat to the main focus here: Academy Award winning director Davis Guggenheim’s new documentary, It Might Get Loud. The man behind An Inconvenient Truth wowed the crowd with his latest “rock-u-doc” about the relationship between a musician and his guitar. But not just any musician; Guggenheim selected three legends to focus on, each one very different in their own right.

The Alice+Olivia summer concert benefiting kicked off Saturday night at Surf Lodge where guests including actress Michelle Trachtenberg, and Montauk regulars Alexandra Richards and DJ Francesco Civetta relaxed on the outdoor deck as Alexa Ray Joel took to the stage with mom Christie Brinkley filming from the sidelines. The former supermodel might possibly be the coolest stage mom in Montauk and took no chances of stealing the spotlight away from her daughter. She wouldn’t even jump into a pic with Alexa, Alexandra, and Michelle when asked exclaiming “not with 3 gorgeous girls like that!” The evening benefited The Art of Elysium, a non-profit organization founded in 1997, that encourages working actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to children who are battling serious medical conditions.
