How To End Your Summer With A Summer Share Pool Party

We managed to skip out on the summer share experience this summer having heard our fair share of great and not-so-great stories about the packed party dens full of people you know, some you don’t, and others you get to know a little too well. Needless to say, it looks like we were missing out. Here’s a look inside the Hamptons Holidays house in Bridgehampton which played host to a Labor Day pool party over the weekend. Share house tenants and guests splashed around all day with drinks in hand, a water limbo tournament in place, food on the grill, DJ on deck, and dozens of summer share party-goers gearing up for their last weekend of summer…Tear.

Underneath The Tents in Bridgehampton: Hamptonites (Not) Watching The 34th Annual Hampton Classic

[All photos by Rob Rich]

Yet another horse riding competition has come to a close with yet another crowd of Hamptonites showing up to do everything but watch the game. Unlike polo, bleachers surrounded the field for the 34th annual Hampton Classic Horse Show for spectators actually interested in watching the game, but on the other side the Grand Prix field? The tents. The place for the horse show-goers more concerned with cocktails, photo ops, and who’s wearing the biggest hat than catching the competition. Guests included… More »

Hamptons Photo Of The Day: The 34th Annual Hampton Classic, And The Winner Is…

[Photos by BILLY FARRELL for PMc]

The 2009 Hampton Classic came to close Sunday afternoon and winner, McLain Ward, took home the $250,000 winning prize while making history as the FEI World Cup Qualifier for a record fourth time on his two-time Olympic gold medal horse, Sapphire, who we should mention is a 14 year-old mare. Apparently the old lady still has what it takes to keep up with the competition as Sunday marked the seventh win for Sapphire in 2009 alone. More photos below… More »

Hamptons House Of The Day

[Photos via Corcoran] Our very own Carson Griffith finally met her Hamptons hero Christie Brinkley (she’s been waiting patiently since June) at the Ross School Tennis Match Sunday afternoon. In honor of Carson’s supermodel encounter, we thought it would be appropriate to choose Chrisite’s Bridgehampton estate as our pick for today’s Hamptons home … More »

Eavesdropping Is What Guests Do Best…

  • We might understand if it was called Blue & Creamy, but when Rudy Guiliani mistook East Hampton’s Blue & Cream for an ice cream shop instead of a clothing boutique he must have been disappointed when he walked in. Was it the striped awning that confused him? [Page Six]
  • A 600 lb turtle washed up in front of a house on Kings Point Road. The East Hampton Town highway department had to use a bulldozer to move the thing. We might worry if turtle soup shows up on Georgica’s menu this weekend. [27East]

[All photos by David X Prutting for PMc]

For Heat, a Celebration of the New Ellen Hermanson Breast Center Southampton Hospital this past Saturday, Steven Klein opened his home to friends, celebs, and fellow good-goers. The greens of his Bridgehampton abode held tents that housed Lindsay Lohan, Daphne Guinness, Amy Sacco, Donna Karan, Kim Cattrall, Andre Balazs, Fabiola Beracasa, Richie Notar, and Julie Ratner, to name some of the fashionable guests who came out to support the good cause. Eavesdropping Is What Guests Do Best…

  • Stella McCartney is taking “garage sale” to a whole new level. Literally. Then again, it is a garage in East Hampton. And when you slap the term “pop-up shop” on it, it sounds that much better, doesn’t it? [Fashionista]
  • Candace Bushnell says Alec Baldwin is “everybody’s type”? Uh, was there a poll given out in the Hamptons that I missed? [Plum TV]

Horsing Around At The Einstein Medical School’s Wild, Wild West Carnival

[All photos by Adriel Reboh for PMc]

We’re noticing a Western theme lately when it comes to events here in the Hamptons. Is it time to get our cowboy boots out of storage? It just might be. Either way, it looks like celebs and families alike enjoyed themselves at the Einstein Medical School’s Wild, Wild, West Carnival at the Ross School in Bridgehampton, presented by Marquis Jets. Christie Brinkley, Elie Tahari, Jeff Adler, Jason Binn, and their families all horsed around for the day with pony rides, moon bounces, sweet treats, and fun games. More »

Hamptons Car Of The Day

The only time an SUV can truly get away with being topless is when it resembles some sort of off roading safari-like truck. This Hamptons car of the day spotted in Bridgehampton, has its’ top attached in the picture but can be removed if desired. Not only does this vehicle look like it can hold more than the Hamptons toughest streets but it’s decked out with some interesting bumper stickers. More pics below… More »

Eavesdropping Is What Guests Do Best…

  • Since when are an XM-15 assault rifle, a shotgun, and 500 rounds of ammunition necessary to take pictures of the Air National Guard Base in the Hamptons. We always thought a disposable camera was enough… [NYP]
  • If you thought that the trapeze was for circus performers only, then think again. Celebrities such as Kelly Ripa and Neil Patrick Harris have tried the trapeze class in Bridgehampton for a good core workout [Page Six]
