Tripoli Patterson
Tripoli Patterson is a pro surfer. He’s lived in Bali and New Zealand. He puts together fantastic exhibitions for artists he discovers in his travels. His tee-shirt line’s like Christopher Holland’s on acid. New York’s hipster elite love him. So too do older, more established gallery owners. Among the east end’s young wave riders, he is God. And he is only 24.

Why We Love Pierre’s

Because c’est adorable, in an upscale but personal tropical resorty way. Because it serves straight-from-the-oven croissants and almond brioche in the early morning. Because the mimosas and mango bellinis are effervescent perfection. Because most of the ingredients on the French/New American menu are locally sourced. Because the main courses (like parmesan-encrusted Chilean sea bass and a Long Island duck magret) are called “Plats de Resistance.” Because there’s also a cheerful yellow bar, and, on Tuesdays, live music. Jody Carlson and her band go on at 8, and I hear they do a mean “Mountains of Things.” See you there!

Pierre’s is located at 2468 Main Street, Bridgehampton
