Tripoli Patterson
Tripoli Patterson is a pro surfer. He’s lived in Bali and New Zealand. He puts together fantastic exhibitions for artists he discovers in his travels. His tee-shirt line’s like Christopher Holland’s on acid. New York’s hipster elite love him. So too do older, more established gallery owners. Among the east end’s young wave riders, he is God. And he is only 24.

Surf Lodge is Eater-Approved!

Sam Talbot’s lobster rolls were a large part of the reason I was so excited about hitting up Surf Lodge this past Sunday, so you can imagine how disappointed I was when I arrived to find the kitchen closed. Now, thanks to our gourmand buddies over at Eater, you can also imagine how good these rolls must be. Eater didn’t like everything (apparently the burgers lack oomph), but they were surprised at the amount of potential in the venue, especially as it was only day 2. Maybe passing up on Spitzer’s Corner was actually a blessing in disguise…
