Tripoli Patterson
Tripoli Patterson is a pro surfer. He’s lived in Bali and New Zealand. He puts together fantastic exhibitions for artists he discovers in his travels. His tee-shirt line’s like Christopher Holland’s on acid. New York’s hipster elite love him. So too do older, more established gallery owners. Among the east end’s young wave riders, he is God. And he is only 24.

Our Crush On Surf Lodge Heats Up

I slept like a baby last night. In fact, I don’t even remember the last time I’ve had such a comfortable sleep, but I was probably in my preoperational stage of development. No doubt, Piaget would be smiling on behalf of my good fortune, one in which I have one man in particular to thank: Sam Talbot. I had fried “chow chow” oysters, scallops atop an unprecedented partner in crime: mr. watermelon salad, a famous lobster roll sandwich, and orgasmic thai mussels floating around in my belly…which sent me into such a comfortable slumber that not even the horseflys above, choppering away with their city guests in tow could stir me this morning. We are only in the start of the season, but this spot makes me want to dive into an endless summer, much like I dove into their drink bearing the same name.

The Vogue photographer in the foyer belied the laid back vibe inside…unlike most “of the moment hot spots”, I could live on their deck for days without leaving and be a happy happy girl, looking out over their lake and drifting off into dreams of halcyon summers.
