We recently stumbled across this location under construction and got the dish on a new restaurant and bar opening in East Quogue. New York City’s Thunder Jackson’s will be having a soft opening sometime next week and the executive chef of the West Village restaurant/bar, Ian Russo, will be bringing his menu to the Hamptons location as well…After having a chat with one of the owners, he promised us that the restaurant will be wilder and better than the West Village establishment and ever since hearing about Thunder Jackson’s patented hamburger, The Dirty Burger, we cannot wait to see for ourselves what exactly is in this creation. Stopped in last nite to check out bar and menu; 3 of us had 1 drink each charged $30.00? Those kind of prices doesn’t make it easy to hang out there!

It’s so annoying because every year a new place opens at this location and doesn’t last… last year this wonderful Italian restaurant, Isola was there, would you know it, it closed during the winter. I hope this one makes it (if it’s as good as readers claim) Maybe they should get a sign outside of the place to let people know they exist.
