However, the designer must have felt that the ensemble was more fitting than one of her designs for the event, which took place at Urban Zen in Sag Harbor. We do have to admit, Donna Karan’s outfit was very artsy. What else do you call an outfit constructed of a slouchy dress and an artistically draped tie-dyed blanket?… The straw hat was the perfect “zen-like” touch to top it all off. Dressing for an occasion? What else do you expect from a fashion designer?
