[Photo via flickr] It’s really eff-ing hot! As a matter of fact, it is going to be so hot this week that ice furniture is necessary in order to take a break from the heat. These two kids were spotted “chillin out” in the middle of Union Square sitting on two solid blocks of ice. While it may be scorching hot in New York, we thankfully always have the beach to help us cool off. In the event that your air conditioning seems to break the same day temperatures reach above 90 degrees, you can always play in an open fire hydrant for free or shell out the big bucks for a private rooftop pool membership
If you’re stuck in the city, we’re not trying to rub it in your face that we have the beach out here, but we will take a dip in the Atlantic over sitting on a block of ice any day.

omg, I was in this area on Saturday, man was it a HOT afternoon. Stopped into a Starbuck’s to get an iced drink because it was such a hot day. The guy in front of me ordered a hot chocolate.. wtf??!
