HAMPTONS REAL ESTATE
Hamptons House Of The Day
“Evidence, A Dance Company hosted its fifth annual fundraiser “On Our Toes” in the Hamptons at Nova’s Ark, in Bridgehampton. It was a festive outdoor celebration complete with a pre-event cocktail reception and a dance performance, which included the dance company’s signature work “Grace,” created by founder, choreographer and artistic director Ronald K. Brown. Television personality René Syler served as the Mistress of Ceremonies.
The festivities included a live auction and raffle, which featured donated items from the G. R. N’Namdi Gallery, Continental Airlines, the Daily Blossom, Sony Electronics, Tiffany & Co., Emily and Ashley, Banyan Tree Mayakoba Residencies and Bravura Art Gallery. One of the evening highlights was the post event reception, “Dancing with Dancers.” Nova’s Ark was transformed into a discotheque and guests had an opportunity to dance with Ronald K. Brown and members of the dance company.”
Kingswood’s Hampton House
We will be imprinting the Kingswood summer ‘08 house in our memory for years to come. The site of one too many vodka-tonics, the pool area looks a lot different to me in the daylight….now we will have to go back to relying on their West Village location for our nights of debauchery.

[Truman Capote's House]
Okay so this house, in Sagaponack, doesn’t actually still belong to the author (it is now owned by fellow artist Ross Bleckner ), however it will always be the site of where much of Truman Capote’s work was penned.
Mickey Drexler, Doing Pretty Well These Days
J.Crew chief executive Millard Drexler is doing pretty well these days. His newest addition to the J.Crew family is causing quite the stir in Tribeca. The strictly men’s store on W. Broadway and N Moore street once held the “Liquor Store Bar”, though now the only thing stocked behind the old wooden bar (kept intact) are pressed shirts and khaki’s. And NOW, an even more fun purchase for Mickey:

Hamptons House Of The Day
Regarding last week’s house of the day. The $10 big ones I offered turned up quite the responses. I am happy to know that $10 is still worth something these days. Three people guessed the house was in Sag Harbor (wrong but it’s twin must be there!), and two other commentors guessed it correctly: the house in question was really off of highway 114 in Shelter Island (come forward to claim your prize)! I spent the better part of my weekend getting to know Shelter Island. Here is another one of my favorites from the island.
Hamptons House Of The Day
The best part about this house isn’t it’s face….it’s it’s behind, which moons the Atlantic.
Hamptons House Of The Day
While I’m not exactly sure this qualifies as a “Tuscan Villa,” this 6br, 6.5ba Deerfield delight certainly comes fully loaded for weekend festivities. Most of the bedrooms have private balconies and ensuite baths with jacuzzis, there’s a truly gourmet kitchen with two stoves, two sinks, and a wine refrigerator, a gorgeous, huge gunite pool, and, best of all, your own gated private drive. Surprisingly, all this will run you only $5,000/week. Schwing! More photos after the jump. More »
