The news broke the hearts of many who knew him not only as a friend, but as a talented DJ spinning at clubs and parties all over New York City including The Box, Greenhouse, and Bungalow 8 as well as in the Hamptons where he spent time this summer DJ-ing for the Koch Brothers at Day & Night. According to few anonymous tipsters, the big-spending club goer was simply being protective of his booze that Kristian helped himself to without permission. This prompted Kristian to pull the “Do you know who I am?!” card when asked to leave the table which of course, is when the fun came to an end and when Kristian got to tweeting. And, oh the doubt! Is it really that hard to believe that these two would buddy up? Apparently some of you think so, despite the numerous people who saw Gohan frolicking all over Southampton together. But just to erase all doubts from any of your minds, we put in a call to The Driver’s Seat to confirm what we already knew: Jon Gosselin has more than 8 - he had a date. Just kidding. But we really have no other explanation for why the two were spotted together in Southhampton less than an hour ago with matching “blonde bimbos in tow” as our eye witness reported. [Jules Kirby] We heard a few murmurs here and there following the July 4th weekend about a possible socialite arrest but no solid details were thrown our way, so we continued to believe the holiday weekend came and went dodging all scandal. Thanks to CityFile, we now know the truths behind the rumored arrest and Jules Kirby was indeed taken into custody in Southampton on July 3rd. New York City socialite arrested? Yes. Scandal? Eh. We hardly consider spending the night in jail for trying to steal an American flag from someones front yard while holding a cocktail scandalous. We’ve seen worse. What do you think? [Photo by Photobucket] This has to be a joke… As Dan’s Papers is currently “reporting”, rumors have it that ex-Alaskan governor Sarah Palin is moving to Hamptons Bays. Speculations first began when numerous secret service agents (with Alaskan credit cards) kept routinely appearing at the Hampton Bays Diner. Supposedly, a person by the name of “Francis Iditerod” placed a bid on three neighboring homes in Hampton Bays and index cards of Palin’s were scooped up by Alaskan reporters containing information about a move to the Hamptons… More »

However, have no fear that once all the arrests and reports filed during the holiday weekend are released, we will be sure to report on the funniest of funny stories (our own editor had to file a police report on an unsafe cab driver). [Photo via Social Life Magazine] Those of you with Twilight fever will be happy to hear that actor and Twilight star Kellan Lutz will be in the Hamptons on July 4th for Social Life Magazine’s holiday party (insert ear-piercing screams of excitement here) Kellan is the fourth Twilight hunk to make it to the East End while Jackson Rathbone and Edi Gathegi performed at the WordTheatre’s Pushcart Prize Benefit at Guild Hall last weekend and Robert Pattinson made an appearance in Montauk for a Vanity Fair shoot earlier this month.
