Nothing says “summer” like twirling around Coney Island’s Astropark. Yesterday was the last day the park will EVER open it’s doors which meant that I had to take a break from the beach and give the infamous place, home to an era lost in NYC’s history, a visit.

Summer in Style with Blackbook, Basil Hayden and Rebecca Minkoff

Basil Hayden Bourbon, Blackbook Magazine and handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff hosted another “Summer in Style” event at the Water Mill home of Rob James and Harriette De Jersey on Saturday. Guests enjoyed cocktails featuring Basil Hayden and music by DJ Brit Lacey. Basil Hayden made a donation to the Earth Organization in honor of the occasion.
