[Photos via Rob Rich] Summertime feasting, patio lounging, and vino sipping has officially returned to Nello so head to Southampton, order a $27 cocktail (or the affordable $18 bellini), and “Tell Nello You’re Here.” Last Saturday, the Italian eatery celebrated Memorial Day Weekend playing host to Hamptonite-scenesters who opted for an evening of spending at the notoriously expensive restaurant to ring in the summer. Guests included the likes of Elizabeth Fekkai, Bobby Hernreich, Ron Burkhardt, Jenny Norberg, and even Nello Balan. More pictures from inside Nello Summertimes below…

Nick Cannon performs at AXE Lounge
Where: AXE Lounge at Dune
Why: The AXE wearing Hamptons crowd partied at Dune every night during Memorial Day Weekend so we’re hoping a packed house can be expected this weekend as well. Nick Cannon is expected to perform and we’re excited to see who he brings. Mariah Carey perhaps? LMFAO was a crowd favorite last weekend so Nick has some tough competition.
When: Friday, 10pm

[Happy Birthday Steven Alan!]
Pop-up shops seem to be… well, popping up all over the place this summer. But one we’re really excited about is Steven Alan’s beachy casual boutique, located on 52 Newton Lane, in East Hampton. The larger-than-life designer literally does it all (showroom manager, jet-setter, dad) - including opening up a store in three days. No wonder he was struggling to hold on to his voice by the time I got him on the phone yesterday. After meeting him on Sunday, it was a pleasure talking to him again - the guy who has been called a “hipster icon”, and designer I’ve been following since I went in search of the perfect button down, is about as laid-back and cool as his clothing. Here he talks to G of G about the pop-up shop, his Hampton favorites, his Birthday, and just about everything else in between. More »

And now, the official word from The Harbor Club’s Jocelyn Levy:
Hi Kendra,
As with any club, visits from the fire marshall are not uncommon, the club was not shut down - but we assessed capacity issues and came to the following decision -

[Photos by ROB RICH] Rumors today have it that the Harbor Club, the newest player in nightlife land out East, is taking their crew and moving to The Georgica. After the Fire Marshal busted their party last weekend and discovered they had no license to be there, we assumed they wouldn’t be in the same space, but were (and are) confident that David Marino, Ben Grieff and James Cruickshank would get their act together and figure out where to take the party. These are the guys responsible for much of the success of places like Bellas in the city, Dune, and Stereo back in the day. Wherever they end up, the prep schoolers and DJ Nick Cohen fans are sure to follow. But, it’s NOT going to be at the Georgica. But don’t take it from us, take it from The Georgica’s Matt Levine… More »
We paid a visit to the Quicksilver Pro Surfer Team in Wainscott and had the chance to check out their gnarly Quicksilver tour bus. The theme of the tour is “NOREASTOUR FEEL THE FUTURE” and this bus screamed Hamptons Car of the Day or shall we say Hamptons Bus of the Day. Want to know who lives on the bus?! Stay tuned for the interview to meet the tide-ripping surfers who call this bus home… More »
- Will newlyweds Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon be making an appearance together in the Hamptons!? Cannon is scheduled to DJ at AXE Lounge tonight, and reportedly Mariah Carey will be tagging along to support her hubby [Newsday]
- If your home is waterfront, it IS possible that the shoreline just might be getting closer to your doorstep. For one East Hampton resident, their home is in danger of collapsing into Gardiner’s Bay! [27 east]
